Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Cover Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
Cover designs. All cover images you create are generated and stored entirely in your browser (localStorage). We do not transmit, store, or have access to your designs on our servers. Clearing your browser data erases your drafts and history.
Analytics data. We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate usage — page views, referrers, country, device type, and browser. This data is anonymized and aggregated; we do not track individual users across sessions.
Cookies. We use cookies for analytics and to serve advertising. See Section 3 below.
2. How we use your information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service
- To analyze usage patterns and trends
- To serve relevant advertising via Google AdSense
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or technical issues
- To respond to your support inquiries
3. Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Analytics cookies — to measure traffic and usage (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Advertising cookies — Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings. For more information about how Google uses data when you use our site, see Google’s Privacy & Terms.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services that may collect data:
- Vercel — hosting and web analytics. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.
- Google AdSense — advertising. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics — usage analytics (if enabled).
- Cloudflare — DNS and CDN. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
5. Data retention
We do not retain your cover designs — they live only in your browser. Aggregate analytics data is retained according to each provider’s retention policy (typically 14 months for Google Analytics).
6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict our processing of your data
- Withdraw consent to cookies at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise these rights, email arjunbhujel600@gmail.com.
7. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page.
