These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Cover Studio (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. License to use

We grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use the Service for any lawful purpose, including commercial use. The Service is provided free of charge.

2. Ownership of generated images

You own all cover images you create with Cover Studio. All images generated through the Service are yours to use for personal and commercial purposes, with no attribution required. The illustrations, themes, and motifs included in the Service are original works created by us and are license-free for use within images generated by the Service.

You are solely responsible for the text, logos, and other content you add to your cover images. Do not generate covers that infringe the intellectual property rights of others.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create images that are illegal, defamatory, or infringing
• Generate content that promotes hate, violence, or discrimination
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the illustration library or source code
• Use automated scripts (bots, crawlers) to overload or disrupt the Service
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices

4. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including the Cover Studio name, logo, software, illustration library, themes, and design — is the intellectual property of Cover Studio and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. The license granted in Section 1 covers use of the Service to generate images; it does not grant you any rights to the underlying Service or its components.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Cover Studio be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Advertising

The Service may display advertising served by Google AdSense or direct sponsors. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Clicking on an ad will take you to a third-party site governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your information.

9. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction of residence, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
